About

Dentists of Plenty Valley was originally opened in 1975 by Dr. Flaviana Benedetti and husband Dr. Garry Nervo. After some time away establishing practices in Mill Park, Kilmore and Ivanhoe and Dr. Nervo establishing a highly recognised endodontic practice in Collins street, Melbourne, Dr. Benedetti returned to Whittlesea in 2012.

With a few renovations, decorations and new homely touches, Dentists of Plenty Valley still maintains its principle aim; to provide excellent patient care, whilst making you feel comfortable and providing you with the best experience possible at the dentist.

Our dentists are all members of the ADA and alongside our experienced hygienists and caring support staff, work as a team to provide you with the best possible outcomes for your oral and general health, as comfortably and conveniently as possible.

Operating as Normal

At Dentists of Plenty Valley in Whittlesea, we are always focused on the health and safety of our patients and staff. We are closely monitoring the current coronia virus information (COVID-19) for all updates.

With the easing of restrictions for dental treatment as of the 8th of May in Victoria, we are now able to provide routine dental treatments to our patients and new patients again.

This is great news for all of us, we have implemented procedures for patient and staff safety. These include but are not limited to:
All patients entering our clinic are asked to use our hand sanitiser located at our reception desk.

We are limiting the number of patients in the waiting room at all times, keeping up with the social distancing requirements.
All patients are asked screening questions before seeing a practitioner.

All patients are required to do a standard pre-procedural rinse containing sodium perborate monohydrate before treatment.
As we always have in the past, all staff use hand sanitisers or hand washing between patients and rooms.
All surgery staff wear eye protection and all masks and gloves are single use.

Single use protective barriers are used in the surgeries, and are removed and all equipment is wiped down before the next patient is collected from the waiting room.

If you are suffering with FLU like symptoms, we ask that you defer your treatment for 14 days and seek medical advice. These symptoms include:
Fever
Sore throat
Shortness of breath
Cough
Diarrhoea

IF YOU HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH COVID-19 WE ARE UNABLE TO TREAT YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY MEDICAL AUTHORITIES.

We are here to help you and if you are uncertain on how to manage your needs, please call our reception staff and they will assist you. We are also offering Telephone health consultation calls with our dentists if required.
